Daily savoring His word by writing out the Bible as a legacy for my kiddos. I’m currently finishing my sixth book and it has been such a sweet practice. Oh and plenty of family dance parties.

I love this idea. I’ve really enjoyed the “Writing the Word” Psalm journals and think I will do this eventually. I’m still a pretty new Christian so right now 2022 is about memorizing bible verses.
I am saying yes to making my home beautiful! Even though interior decorating has made me feel intimidated in the past, this is important so I’m going to prioritize it.
Love this Jennifer! I did a LOT of that in 2021. Maybe tackling too many large makeovers at once costs a lot. It really does have the power to change our world though with changing how we feel each day in our environment. In 2022 I’m hoping to focus on smaller changes and shifts to love my home and practice gratitude for it!
I kind of really want your pound cake in my cultivated year! But I guess I will have to settle for cultivating my own legacy memories.
I want a cultivate a life giving home that is clean, cozy, warm, and inviting. I want to spend lots of time with my girls and make lots of memories in our new city together. I want to make reading books and taking care of myself (physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally) a priority!!
Lots of great goals here Allison! Especially love the first one! In 2020 and 2021 making our home feel welcoming was a top priority and it really does change your experience of your home on a daily basis.
I want to give more and have more fun and laughter in my life!
Sending regular birthday cards and stickers
Yes, yes, Kate! This is on my list every year and I never do it. But one day I will start because it seems like such a great way to let people know they are loved and thought about often.
I got better at this when I put a big sticker on the wall calendar on the birthdays I want to celebrate. I also stockpile cards, and when I power plan for the month ahead, see who I need to celebrate.
This is on my list as well! I usually make a great start in January every year and then work and life takes over and I am forever behind the 8 ball.

My biggest thing I want to make happen is become a stay at home mom at the end of the year. I want to be there for my children. Possibly home school in a few years.
Being consistent in following/cultivating a morning and evening routine. It really helps me stay grounded when everything else is changing all around me.

More time outside: biking instead of driving, hiking with kids, exploring national parks, reading, working outside, etc. Just being outside as much as possible.
Love this! I’ve often wanted to make the switch to biking instead of driving. In my city though, bikes have to go in the road, not the sidewalks. Which seems super dangerous to me.
I need to start letting go of other folk’s narrative of how my life should be – letting go of the fear it produces!!
Calm. Rejecting being frantic. I want to be slow, peaceful, methodical about my work and schedule. Being at a constant frantic pace is so highly stressful. I can control this in my particular life. I don’t have to be in a constant crazy pace. I just have to make the efforts to make that happen!

Health – mental, spiritual and body
This year I want to cultivate self-LOVE…. I want to love myself and feel confident in my own skin.
I want to be more present with my kids. Putting my phone down and really savoring the moments we have. They grow up too fast and I feel like I’m missing out on things.
I lost my mom almost 4 years ago- she was 99 years old and I miss her every day. Her legacy is all around me- Even though she’s “gone,” I just included her on the People I’m Grateful For list. I miss her so much every day but her legacy lives on… (sigh)… I loved this segment! Back to my prep work…
Having this guided video helped take me out of an uninspired place and allowed me to look at these questions from a different perspective. Thank you!
As for my cultivated year – I want to be more purposeful in my decisions and enjoy this time when my kiddos are under 5.
I am prioritizing my physical health and wellness this year. I aim to get back into triathlon, something I love but haven’t done for a while because of injuries and letting myself go.
More shared experiences. Which means inviting, offering but not expecting or forcing.
moving my body regularly, taking time to learn and understand each child, staying devoted to God, creating an achievable, reasonable system to keep a tidy home which is so very needed for peace in our home.
“JOY” is my word of the year.. and as soon as I wrote that on p.17 I realized I want all the fruit of the Spirit– I want to be indwelt !!

I want to be a better cousin to my younger cousins… This year will be filled with special coffee dates, playground visits, and happy mail!
quiet & attention. i want to be done entertaining myself into oblivion and live my life wide awake, even when it’s hard. inviting quiet in order to give my attention to God’s presence in my life and how He wants me to use my presence in this world <3
I want my cultivated year to include time reading my Bible, gathering with people, eating home cooked meals, and working out to feel energized to give all that I can to those I love most. I also want my year to include time to relax, reflect, and adventure!
